Welcome to My Blog

Welcome to my Blog! I am a life coach, author, and radio host. My blog is about the truths I have discovered on my life’s journey. I write my spiritual experiences to inspire others to remember the truth that is within them.  I believe the answers you are seeking in life are within you.  You already know the steps to take. You just need someone to remind you to be still and listen to your soul. God’s spirit speaks to us through our soul. Take a few moments to reconnect to your spirit. You can begin by taking some deep breaths. Breathe in for a few seconds, hold, then breathe out for a few seconds. Now sit back and relax while you enjoy reading my blog.

May you discover the truth within you, as I share the truth within me.

Love and light,

Financial Peace

In the midst of these unprecedented times, being spiritually prepared helped me to keep my balance as the world was consumed with fear and panic. When the whole world shut down due to COVID 19 there was a stillness that covered the earth. I felt there was a heavenly message to stop, be still, and hear the voice of God. My soul became still and at peace. I was reminded that my foundation is in God. I felt an abundance of peace to guide me through those uncertain times. However, I wished I had been more temporally prepared. I know that many people were impacted financially from the pandemic. I hope in sharing my experience it will be a light of hope to anyone who has had financial struggles.

In December of 2019 I put in an offer on a condo. I had been looking for property for a year and a half. I was so excited to find what I thought was a good fit for me. I was devastated when my offer wasn’t accepted. It brought up so many emotions. I look back now and feel grateful I didn’t get that property. My journey to financial peace began after that experience. I have had different struggles with finances as a single mother raising four children. I also experienced many blessings of abundance. I do wish to share those experiences in a future book I am writing. For now I will briefly share how my outlook on my finances changed for the better.

I have attended many self help workshops and have given many workshops as a life coach. I have helped several clients change their belief systems around money, relationships, and their health. I believe letting go of negative beliefs and replacing them with positive ones is the catalyst for change. However, I learned of some new tools to add to my self improvement tool box. I have always been a good steward of the money God has given me. However, there was still room for me to grow and become better. Being only focused on changing beliefs doesn’t work. You have to look honestly at your finances and create a budget. That was the part I was missing in my life. I have never done a real budget. I would budget in my mind and be thoughtful in my purchases. That really wasn’t getting to the core of seeing how I was spending my money. Well I can testify that a budget changed my finances in big ways. In February I started listening to Dave Ramsey and began working the baby steps. Here are the steps:

  1. Save $1000 for a beginning emergency fund.
  2. Pay off all debt (except the house).
  3. Save 3-6 months expenses.
  4. Invest 15% of your income for retirement.
  5. Save for your children’s college fund.
  6. Pay off your home early.
  7. Build your wealth and give to others generously.

Once I decided to work these steps financial blessings came into my life and I increased my income during a world wide pandemic. With the power of intention and faith opportunities presented themselves. I moved forward paying off my debt with intensity and focus. The only debt I had was student loans from when I got my Bachelor’s degree. I didn’t use credit cards. I had a good habits of only paying for what I needed with cash. I would usually use my tax return to pay toward student loans but then not do much during the year. To be honest I was not focused to pay it off quickly. It was just another bill. That changed when I started to listen to pod casts about people sharing there story of how they paid of large amounts of debt super fast. Well I drank the Dave Ramsey Kool-Aid and I got intense about paying off my student loan debt. I looked honestly at where I was spending my money. I realized I would go shopping as a way to reward myself from working hard all week. Sometimes I would go shopping to avoid feelings of boredom. Even though I didn’t spend large amounts of money, my energy was spent buying stuff I thought I needed. I have really made efforts in the past year to live a minimalist lifestyle. This was another step to take it even further by getting out of the rat race and bondage of consumerism.

I had to learn to discipline myself in a different way. It is another level of self mastery when you have the money to buy what you want but decide not to. Money is energy and I became aware of a new way of how I could direct this energy. I made a budget to help me get control of my money. I did my best to stick to it. I haven’t followed it perfectly but it made a big difference in my life. Healing began to happen and the experience became more than just budgeting and paying off debt.

My journey of financial healing was brought to a deeper level. As I worked to pay off my debt the emotional baggage associated with it also released from my body. God was healing me emotionally, spiritually, and temporally. I would have memories of traumatic experiences I had when I incurred the debt. It was a time in my life where my children were healing from domestic violence. My focus was to emotionally heal my children and myself from my divorce. My heart’s desire was to make us a family that was whole and complete in Christ even though we were a single parent family. I decided to go back to school to get my Bachelor’s degree in business. I felt that the loans to help pay for school and monthly expenses would help make my life easier. The truth is it did for a short while. I really didn’t see any alternative. I look back now and realize the emotional stress I was under clouded my vision to look for other options. I never got into consumer debt. I had financed a car and had bought a home but that was about it. I thought it was a good debt because it was for my education and would ease the financial burdens of working and going to school as a single parent. It was one of the most stressful times in my life and I know that impacted my decision making at that time. I have now forgiven myself for the choices I made to go into debt for an education. I made the best choice I knew at the time. I would only recommend cash flowing education after this experience. The debt trap is the belief that you will get a better job and be able to pay the debt off later. Well life happens and things don’t always go as planned. I really don’t have enough words to describe everything I went through during that time. I just look back and see that I did the impossible under impossible circumstances. I did suffer immense heartache and would put on my superwoman cape to press forward to take care of my family anyway.

Now that my children are grown and I am focused on paying off the student loan debt, memories of my heartache are surfacing. I weep for the woman who had to handle all her children’s trials alone. I weep for the woman who had to continue to be strong because there was no other option. I weep for the woman who had to keep going through all the adversity. I can now talk to that younger version of myself and say ” You did the impossible. You are brave. You are strong. You got through it. It is okay to feel the heartache and let it go. Those trials were awakening you to your divinity. You are alive, awake, and free.” I can now consciously choose to let go of all the negative emotions and heartache attached to that time in my life when the debt was incurred.

Financial peace isn’t just about paying off the debt. To truly transform your life financially you have to heal emotionally and spiritually. Then you will become truly free to create something different. God is healing me through this experience as I intensely focus on paying off this debt. It is not just another goal to accomplish. It is opportunity to change my behavior, heart, mind, and spirit. It is a journey of self awareness and self mastery.

Here are somethings that are helpful working towards financial peace:

  1. Download a budget app like Every Dollar and start paying attention to where your money is going. This will help you to get control of your money.
  2. Reduce your spending and get out of the rat race of consumerism. You can listen to an audio book for free on you tube to assist you. I recommend Minimalism by Kiku Katana.
  3. Organize your life. Sell items you don’t need to pay off your debt. This will bring in extra money and create harmony in your space. Only keep those belongings that spark joy in you. You can listen to a free audio book on You Tube by Marie Kondo called The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up.
  4. Understand your money beliefs and behaviors so you can make the transformation into financial peace. Rachel Cruze has a book called Know Yourself Know Your Money that would be helpful in increase your awareness around money beliefs.
  5. Use meditation and Visualization to help you heal emotionally and spiritually. Meditation and visualization are tools in helping you let go to the past and create what you want in the future.
  6. Forgive yourself for the stress and circumstances surrounding any debt you incurred.
  7. Get focused and intense about paying off any debt you have. Take on extra jobs for a short period of time so you can reach your goal faster.
  8. Self care. Remember to take time to nurture yourself as you heal and move towards financial freedom.

It was a blessing that I didn’t buy that condo before the pandemic happened. The disappointment put me on another path into financial peace. I got the wake up call from God to look at my finances more honestly and take control of my money. Are you ready to heed to the call?

Peace be with you.

Surrender

“Spiritual work is a continuous willingness to let things go as they arise.”~ David R. Hawkins

What is possible when one continually surrenders? We find happiness within us when we make letting go a part of our life process. It is part of our divine nature to be happy. It is a choice I make everyday. You can choose to embrace your divine nature to be the joy you are, in-spite of life’s challenges.

The past several months have been a journey of surrendering at a whole new level for me. I let go of a relationship I had held onto for years. I let go of a business that I had spent seven years building. I let go of my perception of what thought I wanted to create. I let go of writing my book, blogging, and being on the radio. Most of all, I let go of “trying to make things happen.” I am a mover and a shaker. It is in my nature to get things done, shake things up, and make it happen. I know when to push and  I know when to let go and trust. Well I experienced a whole new level of surrendering that has brought about an unshakable peace within me. Just when you think you are doing great, God says, “wait there is more! I can give you so much more! If you are willing to receive.”  I completely surrendered myself to God and allowed myself to completely trust my higher self to flow with spirit. I connected to a deep sense of peace and love for myself. I gained a greater appreciation for my life and those that have been apart of my life experience so far. I learned to love the unknown instead of feeling uncomfortable with it. There is so much knowledge gained through surrendering control.

My message to you this month is to practice surrendering more than you have in the past. Here are some steps you can take to learn how to let go and surrender.

1.Make a conscious effort to feel your feelings as they come up, acknowledge them, and surrender them to God. As you go about your day recognize how you deal with your feelings. Do you acknowledge them? Do you do something to distract yourself so you don’t have to feel?
2. Write in a journal. Writing brings awareness of our true feelings and opens the door to inspiration.Keeping a notepad by your bed is a great way to start writing. Technology is used so much on a daily basis. Writing is great way to detach from technology and connect to your true self.
3. Write your negative emotions on a piece of paper and burn it. This tool allows the energy to be transformed into something else.
4.Do visualizations. You can visualize yourself in nature communicating with God. Feeling that connection through visualization can help you to feel safe to let go and surrender your worries, emotions, and thoughts over to God.
5.Write affirmations down and hang them around the house. One of the affirmations I have posted on my bathroom wall says,” I take the path of least resistance.” It is so exciting when you live the affirmations you have been saying for a while!!!

Surrendering allows you to flow with your life experiences. You will find happiness in your daily life as you practice surrendering. This is the path that allows you to flow with life instead of fighting it. Some experiences we have no control over and some we can create. We can have peace and happiness in both. We can gain knowledge and understanding of the mysteries of God through the art of surrendering.

Surrendering sometimes means we need to ask for assistance. After we have done all we can, we let go, and trust the angels will come to assist us. One of my angels is my friend Dr. Eve Agee. Eve is a life coach and the director of her coaching academy. You can learn more about Eve at www.eveagee.com. I had worked  hard for many years trying to overcome my financial struggles with raising four children on my own. I found myself exhausted from the journey and didn’t realize how hard I had pushed myself to succeed. So I reached out for help. After the first session with Eve my life started to shift. The things I had been working on to create in my life showed up faster! My income doubled and I received inspiration on what to do with my business. I also began listening to my affirmation CD everyday from my phone. I am now living those affirmations I created on the CD. WOW! Powerful changes occurred when I surrendered and was open to receiving assistance. This was a very humbling experience for me. I am usually the one who is supporting everyone else. Surrendering and opening up to someone allowed me to receive more in my life. I received more money, love, happiness, inspiration, and trust in God. I discovered giving and receiving are the same. It feels free to give and to receive.

Another gift that I received through surrendering was becoming  better at co-creating with God. Learning to be a creator is part of our divine destiny. Many people practice the law of attraction. The law of attraction is a great truth, however, there are higher truths available for us to receive but only if we seek them. If I want to know how to create I ask God directly, then I listen for the answer, or message he sends me from others. When we are in alignment with God, surrender control, remain detached from the outcome, everything we create comes to us effortlessly.

Seasons of Self Reflection

I love the colors of Autumn and the changes that come as I move through another season of my life. Autumn is a good time to reflect on where you are and where you are headed. Life doesn’t always go as planned, however, when we are open to the daily miracles in our life we realize we are part of a divine plan.

As the season comes I invite you to take time for some self reflection. Write down some positive experiences you had over the summer. As you acknowledge the good in your life allow your whole body to accept the strength your spirit gained through your experiences. You might of had some challenges to go through or enjoyed summer vacations. Whatever the experience is there was a gift for your spirit to receive.Take some time to discover those gifts.

Autumn is also a good time to do a body cleanse to prepare for the winter months. It is a great time to make fresh juice a part of your daily intake of nutrients. If you don’t have a juicer, I suggest you invest in one. It will be one of the greatest investments you could make for your health. You can buy a good one for under $100.00.  Some great vegetables and fruits to juice are cucumber, celery, carrots, apples, and ginger.Experiment with different fruits and vegetables to see what you enjoy best.

Whatever the season brings into your life I hope you receive it with open arms. Everything is a gift from God for our learning and soul’s growth. Know you are loved beyond measure. The angels are there to support and guide you on your path. Your path is perfect for you. Let go of any judgments you have of yourself and others. Every step you take on earth is a gift. You are a gift to this world! Remember who you are and share the light you are. Your presence is needed in this world!
May you enjoy the amazing colors of Autumn and may you feel the warmth of God in your heart.

Love and light,

Your Body Speaks

If you are willing to be still and listen, you can hear and understand what your body is saying to you. I want to share an experience with you. Last week I had oral surgery. I had a tooth that fractured and needed to be extracted. I was sad at first, however, I knew I had done everything I could to save the tooth. My journey of an extracted tooth began 15 years ago when I had a root canal.Ten years later the dentist added a crown to the same tooth. Five years after the crown the tooth fractured and needed to be extracted. It has been quite the process to save my tooth. I never thought this would be something I would have to go through. I thought that I had always taken good care of my teeth. I reflected on the choices I made prior to the root canal. I was addicted to sugar and didn’t pay much attention to nutrition and oral health. The consequences were cavities and a root canal. If there are any changes you need to make in your oral health make them now. Don’t wait until it is too late.

When I became pregnant with my son, I decided to eliminate sugar from my diet. I also learned about massage therapy, juicing, and meditation. A whole new level of health and healing had opened up to me and I started to be more conscious of what I ate and what choices I made to elevate stress. I began to educate myself about toxins and how to remove them from my body. The more I started to love and accept my body, the more aware I became of what to products to use on my body and what foods to eat. I learned about the harmful effects of fluoride and started using natural toothpaste. Eliminating sugar, eating a plant based diet, and using natural toothpaste without fluoride changed my oral health. I have had no cavities since the root canal 15 years ago. I also enjoy emotional balance from the elimination of sugar from my diet.

Why am I sharing this with you??? I care about your health!!!!!! No one taught me how to eat properly and how to listen to my body. I had to learn  the importance of self-love, and self-care through a lot of pain and suffering. You can choose pain or self love as a motivator for change. Pain is a way for your body to get your attention!!!! Your body is speaking to you letting you know you are out of balance. It could be physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual. It is our responsibility to STOP and listen to our body.

The body can heal itself. Letting go of the judgment of whether it is bad or good frees your body to just go through the healing process. It is just an experience! Let it be what it is and become the observer of your pain. Allow your spirit to share insights of what your experience is about. Allow whatever emotions you feel  inside of you to release. Forget what your mind is telling you about the experience and allow the miracle of your body to speak eternal truths. Our bodies hold the wisdom of ages through the voice of our soul. If you ignore your pain, numb your pain with toxic chemical substances, or avoid your pain through addictive behaviors, you cover up the miracle of who you are and the power you have within you to heal.

The greatest gift I have given to myself is making choices out of self love instead of pain and suffering. I no longer need to wait until the pain too great to make a change. Choosing to love myself and make choices to keep my body in balance allows me to go through experiences with grace and ease. Resisting pain or challenges only intensifies it. As I am open and learn to grow and flow with the pains in life, I allow my body to experience life with sacredness and honor of the miracle I am.

You are a miracle! Your body is a sacred and holy temple for your spirit. Listen to your feelings, express them, and allow the energy of your feelings to be released without judgment. Our feelings are our truth in the moment.Making it a practice to speak your truth will set you free. Freedom is yours when you are willing to be still and listen to your body speak.

Here are some of the things I enjoy doing to bring my body into balance:
1. Meditate- Meditation allows our mind to become quiet so our spirit can observe the energy of what is going on in our body. It opens our connection to our Creator so we can allow healing love and light to nourish our body and spirit. It also allows us to expand our awareness of our self  and receive inspiration for our life.

2.Yoga-Yoga helps us learn to breathe into the areas of tension when we hold a pose. Increasing our flexibility helps us to be more flexible with life. It also allows us to connect to our body, mind, and spirit with power and intention.

3.Juicing-Juicing cleanses our body of toxins and brings vitality to our cells. It increases our energy and heals the body. I juiced ginger, cucumber, and carrots to ease pain after my oral surgery instead of using prescriptions or Tylenol. It worked great!!

4.Sound Healing-Playing beautiful music can sooth the soul, calm the mind, and bring our body into balance. I also use crystal bowl sound healing to bring my chakras into balance.

5.Gemstones-Gemstones promote healing and awakening on every level- body, mind, emotions, and spirit. You can wear gemstone necklaces or do self therapy treatments to help bring your body into balance. You can find our more about healing with gemstones by sending me an email at andreaswellnesscenter@gmail.com.

6.Nutrition- When we eat  balanced meals of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains our bodies are balanced. We can focus more effectively, and our energy increases. There are foods that increase our energy and foods that decrease our energy. Making the best personal choices for our body comes through awareness of what we eat and how we feel after we eat it. If the food you eat doesn’t increase your energy after eating it, then it is time to reconsider your food choices.

7. Writing in a Journal- Writing helps us process our feelings in a healthy way. I also encourage my clients to keep two journals. The first one is to use to write down all feelings. I also suggest burning the pages when they are ready. Burning the pages is a physical action to transform the energy into something else. This is a great healing tool for people needing to release anger, fear, hurt, grief, and shame. The other journal is used as a creation journal. This is where I invite my clients to write down positive affirmations, goals, and dreams. There is great power in writing our goals down. I have manifested 21 desires this past year. A creation journal was one of the tools I used to manifest what I want.

8.Nature- Nature is one of the most powerful healing gifts for our bodies. The life force that comes from the earth balances our chakras, clears our mind, and awakens our soul. Spending time in nature is essential for our well being. If you don’t have time, make time! Even if you just spend a few minutes in the sun or lay on the grass it will make a huge difference in your life.

9.Detox Bath- An Epsom salt bath is great for relaxation and detoxification. I use 1-2 cups of epsom salt, lavender essential oil, and Master’s Miracle Soap for a great energy clearing, relaxing, and detoxing bath.I also like to add some beautiful music and candles for ambiance.

10.Self Love- It takes self-love to make the choices we need to keep our body healthy and balanced. Our thoughts about our-self is a reflection of how we treat our self and others. Having positive self talk is essential to our health. Transformation begins with a thought to believe the truth. Which is that you are loved! You are lovable! You are perfect as you are in this moment! You are growing and learning on your spiritual journey. Enjoy your life without judgment of yourself and others. Life is blissful when you do!

Gratitude

November is the month we celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. It is a reminder to be grateful for all the blessings in our life.I have taught in my workshops that being grateful is a way of life and a state of mind rather than something we do once in a while or for the holiday season. Human beings have a tendency to be pulled down by negativity too easily. It takes spiritual strength to find the positive and good in the daily challenges of life.

Living in gratitude is more than just being thankful for what we have or thinking positively. It is feeling compassion, appreciation, and connection to others and our Creator. Let me share an example from my book Celestial Living Reflections on Love and Faith.

One evening I came home from work and was very tired. I had been working as a massage therapist 40 hours a week, which required a lot of strength and energy from me emotionally and physically. I reached for a package of salad mix that had been washed, cut, and ready to use. As I was sitting at the table I began to think of all the people that it took to grow the vegetables, harvest the vegetables, transport the vegetables to the store, and those that worked at the store to sell me the food. Something powerful awakened in me that opened a deeper level of gratitude and connection to everything and everyone on the planet. I was receiving A GIFT from many people! I felt honored through the service of so many to bring me this food that was so convenient for me to eat at this particular time. I felt like a queen eating this $3.00 package of pre-mixed salad. An enormous amount of love expanded within me and out towards all people on the earth. This spiritual experience changed how I view everything and everyone in my life.

Living in gratitude opens our eyes and our heart to love more deeply. Gratitude allows us to experience more compassion, to increases our appreciation for life, and feel our connection to humanity.

I have felt deeply loved by God through the goodness of others. Whether I have known them or not I feel the connection we have with each other and my life is blessed.

May you take some time to ponder how others may bless your life today and always.

Happy New Year 2015!

This is my favorite time of year. I enjoy reflecting on my experiences, growth, and the person I have become. It is a time to let go and embrace all the good I received with grateful heart. There is also an excitement I feel in my spirit thinking of what may come in the new year. I feel empowered as a creator to fulfill the desires in my heart knowing God and angels are supporting me. I celebrate my life and desire to support you to celebrate yours.

This is a time when people make their New Years resolutions. How many stick to it, I don’t really know. I do know that living in spiritual awareness is being open to countless possibilities. My desire is to align myself with the best opportunity to bring the most growth. I believe being a co-creator with God to fulfill our divine destiny is a stronger force for achieving goals than New Years Resolutions. Goals are important because they stretch us beyond what we knew we were capable of. It is also important to be open to what God would like to bless you with. Human beings can limit themselves in goals they may set for themselves. Be open to your own inspiration and the unlimited possibilities your creator has in store for you this coming year.

I have manifested over 23 goals this year, which is more than I have done in the past. Wow! I am still in awe of what I accomplished quickly and easily. Here are three of the most powerful tools  I use to manifest my desires.

1. I worked with a coach. Dr. Eve Agee helped me make a huge shift in my life financially. She has been a guest on my radio show several times. She is an amazing woman. Her website is http://www.eveagee.com.

I struggled for years supporting four children on my own, working part time, going to school, and running a business from home. It was a big change for me to receive support from someone else. I am someone who is constantly giving to others. I have dedicated my life to serving others through my work, church, and family. Being open to receive support from a coach was empowering and life changing.

2. I use a creation Journal. After I meditate in the morning and evening I write down my experience.I can hear, feel, and sense God’s will for me as I write. I also write questions and listen to my soul for the answers to come. I am always amazed at how much God desires to bless my life. It helps me to overcome my limitations.

3. I use a vision board. This is how I discovered how much I manifested over this year. I learned this tool from a workshop I attended with Kirk Duncan at http://www.3keyelements.com. I only put nine items on the board at a time. I take down what I manifest and put it in a folder. I also had a list of what I wanted to manifest in the same folder, which manifested before it got to the board! It works! I highly recommend this tool.

If you would like to know more on how to use these tools to manifest your dreams, goals, and desires call for a FREE 30 minute session. I am here to support you!

May God spread prosperity and joy in your life on this New Year and fulfill all your dreams.

Love and light,

Listening to Love

I have made it a priority to listen more deeply to those who are in my life. Whether it is my children, clients, friends, strangers, or acquaintances, I know everyone has something to offer. We can deepen our relationship with others if we are willing to listen on a soul level. Some people are natural listeners, other people struggle with being a good listener. I believe that if you don’t have a natural gift to listen it is something that can be learned with practice.
Here are some lessons I have learned to become a better listener.
1. Listen to our Soul: When we tune into listening to our soul and the voice of our creator, we can learn to listen to others more deeply.Conflict can be caused by judgment of another’s behavior, not being heard or valued, and not feeling free to speak their true feelings. When someones is critical of themselves they are usually critical of others. When we learn to listen and understand ourselves we can create the safe space to listen to others.Finding value in who you are opens the opportunity to find value in what other’s have to share.
2.Look beyond Behavior: Understanding that human beings behave both consciously and unconsciously. Their behavior has nothing to do with us. They are acting out of their own free agency, whether it be positive or negative you can choose not to let it affect you.As a parent I have learned to look beyond my child’s behavior to fully understand their feelings. When I create a space for feelings to be shared freely the behavior changes in a positive way.The importance of being HEARD is transforming for the individual being heard and for the one listening. Becoming a good listener invites you to become a more loving compassionate human being.
3.Everyone has a Message: When you listen on a soul level with another human being to can learn truth from their experiences. Every soul has gained wisdom through their life experience. When we share that truth the listener and the one sharing can expand in wisdom. Truth expands when shared and received.
4. Be Present:Giving our undivided attention invites others to feel of our spirit and for us to feel theirs. This level of listening goes beyond words.

A personal experience I had last week reminded me how important it is to stop and listen to our loved ones. This experience is what inspired me to write to you today. I was sitting on my couch reading while my daughter Taylor and son Tristan were doing their homework. I had already planned the next day with projects I needed to get done for my coaching program, website, and networking. I was having problems with my website and needed to work on it to get it resolved so I could complete my other projects. I was looking forward to having time to work on it the next day.As I was sitting there my son said “Mom can you come get me for lunch tomorrow?” In that moment everything stopped for me. Tristan had never asked me this before. There was something in his voice that was longing. I felt something inside of me. I felt more than just words, instead I felt his spirit. I told him I would do what I can and mentioned what I needed to get done tomorrow. I am a person who enjoys giving someone I love surprises.  I began figuring out how I could get what I needed done to fix my website. I found a company that could take care of everything I needed and they did it quicker than I would of. I decided to surprise Tristan at school the next day. I will never forget the smile on my son’s face when he came around the corner and I was standing in the hallway of his school.  The joy of that moment is forever with me. We had a lunch at his favorite place and I quickly got him back to school as soon as I could. We didn’t say much during that quick lunch but MY PRESENCE said everything. My son thanked me four times that day and continued to come up and give me hugs throughout the evening. It was a heart warming experience that I wanted to share with you. My hope is that you will create heart warming memories in your life through listening to those you love.

Love and light,

Gifts of Overcoming Adversity

It has been fourteen years since I filed for divorce. Anyone who has been through divorce knows how ugly and devastating it can be. Back then I felt my whole world fall apart. I was emotionally spent and spiritually exhausted from giving all that I possibly could to have a family forever. I didn’t know back then that my divorce was a catalyst for my healing and spiritual awakening. Today I am grateful for the courage I had to heal and become whole after a devastating experience.

You don’t have to go through a divorce to heal and awaken to your true self. That is just how it happened for me. We all have experiences that will open up the opportunity for us to heal and discover our divine nature. Sometimes it can be traumatic and painful however, other times it can be through joy and love. I have learned that I have a choice! I can choose to learn my life’s lessons through joy and love. If I have a challenging experience that brings pain, I move through it extremely quickly by acknowledging my feelings, surrendering my will to God’s will, and not resisting it.

This month I celebrate who I am and the gift of overcoming my adversity. I am giving a free gift to the world! My book Celestial Marriage Reflections on Love and Faith is available on Kindle for FREE for the next 48 hours. This book is my pearl from the adversity I experienced through my divorce. I made the decision to become a more loving, compassionate, and forgiving person. Instead of being angry, depressed, and hurt from my past experience. My divorce was the catalyst for me seeking God for answers regarding the relationship between a man and a woman. I wanted to know what would work, because I felt like I tried everything. My book is the inspiration I received from God and my spiritual experiences. I sought answers from God and I received them through listening to my soul. I know all of us have the answers within us.Truth is eternal. Truth is consistent. I share my truth in my book to invite others to ponder and receive their own personal revelation from God on how to make a marriage relationship work.

The original copy of my book that I wrote over ten years ago had 300 pages. I decided to only publish 100 pages and add photos to make it a beautiful work of art. Just how life doesn’t always go as we planned my book unfolded into how it was supposed to be. In my original copy I wanted to tell people HOW to create a Celestial Marriage. My published copy shared what I discovered to be true, seeking inspiration from God, and inviting others to do the same. I surrendered to the creative experience of publishing my first book and loved who I became in the process. I have several more books to publish and share with the world. What about you? Is there something inside of you that you can share with others to bless their life. You have gained knowledge through your life experiences. That is POWER! You can make a difference in someone’s life when you are willing to share your experience, hope, and faith. May you take some time to ponder your own life experience to discover the gifts you received from adversity. You will find them if you will take the time to look.

I am grateful for the opportunity I have to share with you each month. I am grateful for the opportunity to share this ebook with all those that will open their heart to it.

You can get your FREE copy from kindleunlimited at amazon.com. Please feel free to share it with your family and friends. Here is the link to get the FREE OFFER:

Time to Unplug

Ten days ago I experienced a life changing event. My life started on a completely different path. As I was reflecting on the new direction my life had took I had no desire to be on the internet or engage in social media. The change brought many feelings to the surface. My time was focused on processing all emotions that came up so I could move through the major life change easily.
I am very sensitive to the energies, thoughts, and emotions of others and as well as my own. Being a spiritually gifted healer I can get overwhelmed or over stimulated if I am not grounded. This is the main reason spending time in nature is very healing and grounding for me. The healing process my body and spirit went through as a result of the change was a natural surrender to the flow of how God was guiding my life. I had no desire to connect to the internet and all social media networks. I logged out of all social media on my phone. The majority of my engagement on the internet and social media is used as a vehicle in which I share my message and connect with those who I desire to serve. Through many years of working with others I know I DON’T NEED it! People who want to work with me WILL FIND ME! That is the beauty of  God connecting me with those who need life transformation. Likewise, I have connected with people I wouldn’t otherwise through the internet. I know both are important and not to be dependent on either one. Instead trust that divinity is always working to bring the right people at the right time in my life to serve and support.

What I want to share with you today is the transformation I had when I unplugged from the internet and social media for just 9 days!

Here are some of the things I experienced from my internet detox:
1. A safe healing space for my body, mind, and spirit to process the emotions triggered by the change in my life. The benefit was processing emotions as they surface. This was very healing and transforming.

Suppressing, repressing, avoiding, and distracting ourselves from emotions is an unhealthy way to cope with life’s challenges. It ends up causing more pain and suffering in the future. Being aware and true to our feelings in the moment allows us to be healed and wholeness is restored.

2. Freedom from distractions.Social media is a distraction! Even though my use of social media is used in a POSITIVE way it is still a distraction for my mind and spirit. When I unplugged from social media I no longer had thoughts of what was running through my Facebook news feed everyday. WHAT WE READ DOES AFFECT OUR MIND!!!!!! I didn’t know that energy had an affect on my mind until I stopped it.
The benefit was I could easily stay in-tune with my emotions, my thoughts, and my spirit to receive guidance when I was not distracted from checking my social media apps on my phone. Was I in tune with my emotions, my thoughts, and spirit when I was connected to internet and social media? Yes,of course, however, I felt a DEEPER connection to my spirit, and an increased AWARENESS of Divinity working miracles in my life when I UNPLUGGED from internet and social media. The only thoughts I needed to pay attention to was my own so I could figure out the next steps to take for my life.
Even though I enjoy sharing on Facebook, my spirit needed a break from the internet. That is why I am writing to you today. I have not felt inspired to write for several months. My job required me to be on an Ipad all day. I was also connected to internet and social media through my phone daily. I was overloaded with technology at my fingertips. Now that I have unplugged from the internet I have the desire and inspiration to write again and create new workshops to support others.
3.My divine path became CLEAR! Our path in life is not always clear. Part of the journey of life is to get through things with faith and trust. There will be moments when the direction of our lives is not clear and that is okay. When my divine path becomes clear productivity and passion for my purpose increases! I accomplish so much in a short time. When I have clarity I create a CD, book, workshop, write in my blog, support more people in transformation, enjoy fun activities with my family, and LOVE every minute of my life. I am living an abundant life through simplicity and gratitude.

The Internet is a great blessing to humanity in many ways! Learning moderation and balance with all good things is essential. Life is a constant balancing act. We are here to learn self mastery.
Are you in balance with your use of the internet and social media? What would happen to your life if you took a short break from the internet and social media?

My recommendations would be to keep internet to a minimum.  When you do a body cleanse, unplug completely from internet as well.My challenge for you is to do it! Make a commitment to unplug for a week or 10 days and see what happens. I hope you will share the benefits with me when you do.

Love and light,
Johnna Andrea Tuttle
